Tips for Effective Company Blogs

This podcast was easier because I felt very comfortable using the software. I was finally able to master syncing up my video and audio, even after inserting images. This was super exciting for me because just about a month ago, I was completely confused about everything related to iMovie.

In this podcast, I decided to use PowerPoint slides. I thought this would be an easy way for viewers to keep up with what I was discussing. I was pleased with the results of the slides and I liked the fact that the text was readable. This was not the case with my last podcast, where I used screen shots of blogs. I felt like the slides also helped me transition between subjects throughout the video.

For my next podcast, I would really like to include music. I just can't seem to find anything that fits the theme of the podcast. I will probably also include a few more images in my next podcast. That really seemed to liven up my last podcast. However, including only images throughout the podcast does take considerable time to find relevant images and to insert them at the proper time.

I thought you did an excellent job producing this podcast. It was very informative and you clearly explained your topic. I liked the way you did voiceovers and inserted slides that fit in perfectly with what you were talking about. Your audio was very clean and you did a great job matching up your audio and video before and after the voiceovers. I also liked that you were not facing the camera, it made it seem more like an interview. Your podcast flowed very well and you did a great job of filming a continuous clip of yourself talking (which I know I can't do!) Your topic is interesting and you explain the main points well. The only thing I would suggest is to turn yourself a LITTLE BIT more towards the camera like a little more at a diagonal. Overall, I thought you did a fabulous job on this podcast and I look forward to your next one!

This was a very informative podcast. You did an excellent job of informing us of you topic. You spoke very clearly and were very easy to understand. I liked that you put the information on screen. Especially when you are dealing with a large amount of information, it is good to be able to read it as well. I liked the camera angle you chose for this cast; it was framed very well. I did, however, wish you would have changed the camera view every once in a while. Also, a little b-roll, rather than simply the slides, may have added to the cast. Overall you did a great job! You were obviously prepared with all the information you gave to us. I look forward to your next one. Nicely done.
